Designed in 1999 by Emaf Progetti. The Alfa sofa is very comfortable but with clear, simple lines capturing the best elements of Zanotta's design ethos.

Available as a three seater, the addition of the matching footrest gives it additional flexibility.

Tufty-Time modular sofa by B&B Italia.

Tufty-Time is an informal system, with free and versatile composition possibilities. It is made up of the basic unit and an ottoman,  which can be matched with other central, corner and end units with high or low armrests.

Especially welcoming in the greater-depth version, Tufty-Time becomes a meeting place, or a cosy refuge in which to relax.

Charles Large modular sofa by B&B Italia.

High seat modularity starting with sixteen elements per type and different sizes - this is the concept behind Charles. Linear and corner compositions are developed with these elements, particularly with chaise longue end units. Despite this, its flexible nature is masked by its raised profile and elegant leg structure. 
There are two range of Charles, which differ in seat depth. Shown here is the 'Large' version, which features the deeper seat.

Its numerous components can be assembled in different ways in order to combine seats of different widths, more or less bulky, with linear or corner design, and with different types of armrests. 
The seat cushion sits on a large sized base frame.

The minimalist design makes this chaise longue look especially light. Thanks to its magnet retainer, the headrest can be fixed into the best position for enjoying an afternoon rest, reading the newspaper or relaxing in front of the TV. 
Upholstered in felt, leather or pony skin and subdivided into segments, it features sewn seams along the edges to enhance patterns.
